a) Mushrooms
100% Organic Oyster Mushrooms by Fozkom. Mushroom is a common edible Fungus. Oyster mushrooms may sound more like something you’d find in the ocean than on land. Yet this edible fungus can be beneficial to the body and breaks down toxic chemicals.
It was first cultivated in Germany as a subsistence measure during World War I and is now grown commercially around the world for food. It is related to the similarly cultivated king oyster mushroom. Oyster mushrooms can also be used industrially for mycoremediation purposes.
Facts About Oyster Mushrooms
- The oyster mushroom is a saprotroph, meaning it feeds on dead and decaying matter (mainly wood).
- They are found on hardwoods throughout the world in the spring and fall.
- The caps usually range between 5 to 25 cm (2 to 10 inches) and are shaped like a fan or an oyster. The caps are rolled into a convex shape when young and will flatten out and turn up as the mushroom ages. They can be white, yellow, brown, tan, and even pink!
- They have a unique scent that is often described as sweet like anise or licorice (liquorice).
- The latin name Pleurotus ostreatus means “sideways oyster”, referring to the oyster-like shape of the mushroom.
- There are a few closely related species that can be hard to distinguish from oysters. Thus it’s helpful to bring someone knowledgeable when searching for them in the woods.
- The mycelia will kill and eat nematodes (small roundworms) and bacteria, making them one of the few carnivorous mushrooms.
b) Soybeans
c) Maize
d) Organic vegetables
For the past 5 to 6years, the production of Organic vegetables has positively increased at a geometric rate as opposed to previous years which we recorded a very slow growth rate (Arithmetic Growth rate). The secret behind this great yield is as a result of the Bio-Slurry we get from the anaerobic digester as we use it in the cultivation of Vegetables and other crops. In Cameroon, Fozkom is prides herself as the top-ranking company in the production of Organic Foods of great quality.
The presence of nitrogen as a major nutrient required for the plant growth is found in slurry contributed greatly in this huge success.
e) Green house construction and management Smart Farm establishment.
f) Fruit tree domestication and propagation in greenhouse

BIOGAS DIGESTERS ON AGRIC COMPLEX
Biogas is a biofuel derived from the natural process of anaerobic decomposition, which happens in the absence of oxygen. When the organic matter decomposed, a blend of gases is released, primarily methane and carbon dioxide. Food wastes, animal manure, wastewater, and crop residue are some of the organic materials used for biogas production by feeding the digester.

Biogas
The organic waste gotten from the farms, animals and sewage are being mixed with water in a proportion of 1:1 and put into an anaerobic digester to produce methene gas otherwise known as Biogas. The gas is used for heating and lighting of the farms. At Fozkom, “waste is Wealth”.
Biogas is produced via anaerobic digestion of organic wastes which provides a unique opportunity to tackle waste management problems, reduce environmental pollution and to provide green energy. The worldwide drive to find clean, renewable energy sources remains a main priority of Fozkom.
Electricity
Electricity is generated from the biogas Plants that can power homes, Institutions, Farming Complex etc. This is realized with the use of Biogas Generators which will produce electricity.
Organic Fertilizer/Slurry
We produce Organic fertilizers from the digesters for the cultivation of crops (Vegetable Crops) in our farms. The excess bio slurry gotten from the anaerobic digester is commercialized. This ensures that our products are 100% Organic and this goes a long way to boost Agric productivity at our farms and ensures the organic nature of our crops.
a) Master house plan septic system into biogas plants for homes and institutions
This is an anaerobic digester where all the waste from toilets at home or institutions are channeled to in order to produce gas.
At Fozkom, we construct septic tanks in the form of Anaerobic digesters where the toilet waste can be transformed to Biogas, electricity and Organic fertilizer.
b) Industrial Waste management for Cities
Join our waste management team where we provide waste management schemes for communities given that waste is a major problem in most communities
c) Design of house roofs into solar systems.
d) Consultancy into biogas plant concept and solar installations
Fozkom is one of the only Companies in Cameroon that offers consultancy and training services in Biogas and renewable energy where people are trained to produce, manage, Install and control both Biogas and Solar system installations.
